Wow, this is great info guys!! So are all these lifts cable type; Challenger, Danmar, and Atlas? I also want the Mowhawk Lift, but think its too much over kill for my occasional oil changes, transmission drops, brake maintenance, etc...

Are you planning on finishing the interior...? How much does something like that go for? I just found out that the builder of my future garage does not finish the interior, nor does plumbing, nor electrical... WFT!!?? I have to get different contractors for that... I thought the price included...

My uses for a compressor will be mechanics tools, air ratchet, impact gun, grinder, etc... I tried matching the specs to tools I was using, ended up buying a HF special which couldn't even run an air ratchet... sigh

I also keep seeing 135 PSI max and others with 155 PSI max, even 175 PSI max... Is this as important as the CFM...?

How much are you guys spending on these IR compressors...? I keep looking for them and keep seeing them in the $1,500 range...

I see both your lifts are symmetrical... Any regrets not going with an asymmetrical version? On both your lifts, you seem to have plenty of door opening space!! Seems like I'll be requesting a 6" slab on the lift side of the garage... lol

Ooh, a new lift company... Danmar, how do they compare to Mohawk or is BendPak a better comparison? I like the price a lot better than Mohawk... :) I want to hear what you guys have to say!!
