Thanks all,... If you look at some of the slab pictures, you will see they leave a lip around the bottom, this is where the brick start and works its way up. They actually cover some on the front when pouring concrete lip...

For the most part grass was removed, but you are correct, some area's did remain. They also use wire in the concrete for the length of the slab, so hopefully that should help with the voids.

Mine will only have brick on bottom 3 feet, I was just pointing out cost difference not try to compare at all...

Back portion with jam room will have ductless Heat and Air....

TimNY1984 It is two 8x8, and one 9x8 Center door. Kevin54, The requirments here on a mono slab is 8 inch above ground, when driveway gets poured and leveled out you wont tell...Brick will run to ground as well. It took 4 trucks of cement to pour that slab, i came out close to 8 an half inch...
