I would probably prefer 6-point as that's what I've been buying lately, but I have them elsewhere if I need them. Though there is plenty of 12 point in my shop box, and these would likely be a good match for the 12-pt. Armstrong deep sockets that are coming as part of a surplus kit I purchased.

Agreed. I used to run tall (33") but relatively narrow 255mm (10") light-truck tires, but now use 285s, which makes the static bubble balancing more difficult.

I hope that is my experience as well. I'm tempted by the Uncle Sam's Retail Outlet deal for the Armstrong ratcheting wrenches (don't really care about the extras). I called my local Fastenal, confirmed they can/will warranty Armstrong tools. They answered yes and offered me an Armstrong catalog...

I received my S-K 3/8" drive set and like it. The proof of value (or lack of) will be over time.

I have a Grainger local (and a business), but it looks like the prices are much higher than ToolTopia, don't think I can afford SK from a B&M store.

I'm going to buy some sockets, hope they are the new ones, probably from ToolTopia.com. Seems ToolTopia has the product and really good prices/deals.
