What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Last coat of paint on the frame for the bronco. Now working on the engine and transmission/transfercase (new gaskets/seals/etc...) and should be ready to thrown them on the frame by Sunday. Had to return bodymount bushings (they sent the wrong ones) so there will be a slight delay on putting...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Applied the second coat to the Bronco frame. Finally sat down and made up my detailed parts list for R&R parts and other misc. parts needed before the body goes back on. I have to also sit down and redesign the body craddle for the body (the one it is sitting on is not sturdy) and I need it...

Truck topper lift - need construct ideas

I use a simple setup in my garage for my 82 Bronco (fullsize) top (its about 125lbs). I use two 2x4s with eye hooks and run ratch straps from the eye hooks to the ceiling. I back it in. Unbolt the top and slide the 2x4s under it and lift it up and start using the ratchets. Easy for one...

    Jeep Garage cabinet

I like it for a couple of reasons. First it doesnt take up a lot of room. Second, I like to repurpose stuff and this is one good idea. Good job, looks good even though its for a JEEP garage lol

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Finished stripping the Bronco frame down. All rust removed, treated the metal and waiting for that to dry over night. Turned the rotors and messed around some. Tomorrow will be priming and painting first coats on it. Will be bending the new brake and fuel lines also.

    Antenna help

I had forgotten about that LOL. I was an odd one, I loved 29 Stumps. When I went back there for Radio Chief and Comm Chief school things had changed a lot but still liked it there. Spent a lot of time coming back also for CAX and other training. I haven't been there since 86 or so......

Nuttsgt, Its been ages since I have messed with antennas (I used to be a radio operator in the USMC and built a lot of field expedient antennas and took many courses in antenna theory; I also used to be a HAM and made many antennas. I do not remember all the theorys for 1/4, 1/2 wave etc...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Looks like we are doing similar things, except mine is a 82 Bronco and I ripped it all down to the frame lol. Good choice, in replacing the WP seeing that you have it a part and it will be easier to do it now than later when the engine is back in. I love doing this stuff, except now with my...
