    Craftsman V-series clearance

That’s why I said test market. Much easier to educate and market to a smaller more specific customer base Vs Lowes just throwing it in a display with a bunch of other CM products and doing limited advertisement. YMMV

    Craftsman V-series clearance

Im not going to defend Lowes or SBDs marketing plans because frankly they **** at it. Ill give Lowe’s some credit for trying to fill a void in their tool line up with something above Kobalt/CM, but not educating consumers as to why they might want to buy a $35 ratchet over a $15 Kobalt one is...

    Craftsman V-series clearance

Except other than pliers, Icon is nowhere near tool truck quality. The V series wrenches, sockets ratchets and screwdrivers are superior to the Icon line SBD dropped the ball with marketing the V series, the typical lowes shoppers is just going to see a higher priced CM product without any...

Every steel and HT is coming to create trade offs W2 is my favorite and does everything I ask of it, from kitchen use to butchering game. 1084, 1086M, 1095 and 52100 all make excellent blades For stainless 154CM & ATS-34 work well for me In my non exhaustive experience, I don’t see huge...

The Wood topped Kobalt is best compared to the Yukon, not the USG.

    Lowes deals/sales/clearance

I’ll preface this by saying I have a US Gen 56 & 5 drawer cart The wood top box is a Yukon competitor and should be compared to it not USG The 5 drawer carts that I’ve seen at Lowe’s, HD, Menards & HF all seem to me to be the same.

    Lowes deals/sales/clearance

These were marked at $11+, at check out they were $7.54. There are 2 different Purdy 3 packs. The other is marked $21.98. The cheaper one was on an end cap at the mixing station - YMMV

The 19mm is 15-5/8 First Take - ratchet head is pretty darn smooth - the I beam design feel odd in the hand (This is my first I beam wrench, kinda like when the raised panel C’man came out) - Chrome Is super polished - The case/rack is awesome, who ever came up with it at SBD deserves a big...

    Anyone used SATA wrenches?

I have the Combo wrenches OP posted (they were $100 last Christmas) and have GW ratcheting wrenches and they seem on par and at that price point is a good deal IMO. Dbl Box end set has worked fine the 3/8 ratchet is a carbon copy of husky. For $10 it’s a good back up Screwdrivers were poor

    Vevor Anvils 35% off

Were you using a cheapy file? Typically good files are hardened all the way thru. a mid 60s hardness would give me some concern

    Kizer Juan 10.5” chefs knife

guessing that these are clearanced due to fit and finish. Scales are a bit undersized making the grip a bit uncomfortable. Design is good and allows for an easy working pinch grip. The blade is sharp, but a bit toothy. Going to strop it and see if that improves things. We’ll see how well...

    Vevor Anvils 35% off

Depending on what you’re using it for, i Wouldn’ recommend it. You’re losing about 90deg of work access and the top of the Vice appears to be taller than the anvil.
