    What are ACCEPTABLE air leaks for you?

    Same for me! I don't have a very nice setup yet. Still working with a Craftsman 33gal oilless unit. I don't have much drop in pressure but I can't hear any leaks so it works for me.

    You will be fine replacing only two. The only reason it is recommended is due to the age of the existing ones. I have just replaced one before.

    I did the exact thing as all of the above. My welder was very very dirty. I disconnected every terminal and cleaned with a wire brush and reassembled. I sprayed out with brake cleaner and contact cleaner with a light scrub and nylon brush. I agree that i don't have the balls to clean out...

    Most useful tool you overlooked at first

    AGREED!!! I feel the same about the Topside Creeper. Now my knees hurt from leaning in to check the oil. Don't know how I rebuilt engines without it.
