Pawn shops are good but it seems they never budge on their Snap-On, I can usually negotiate Matco, MAC, and Cornwell down to 35%-45% off their asking price. So I was both pleased and surprised they worked with me on the Snap-On

    tusk motorcycle tools

I have a couple of their suspension tools. No complaints about the fork cap wrench and the fork seal drivers are solid, almost a copycat of the motion pro drivers.

Pick all these up at the pawn shop for $135. The Williams set is pretty much new for $35 and the Hammer was only $20.

How far can you run an ethernet cable

KISS run a cat6 drop, use cheap switch good to go. I haved used fiber between swtiches for years without failure. Why on earth would the averge joe setup a manage switch, that's what geek squad for:). I refered to catalyst and procurve because of the low failure rate, but I digress and...

How far can you run an ethernet cable

You can get used 2950's with fiber module for less than $150 and procurves for even less. If you wanted gbE then you could use the power connect although it does protect against STP. I wouldn't use any type of unmanaged switch.

Getting a wireless signal out to my attached garage.

Run the wire then use wifi bridge between your TV and the access point. You should be ok if the access point and the bridge are in the same room. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124431 If your TV supports wifi then the bridge wouldn't be needed. Your issue with cable...

How far can you run an ethernet cable

I would run fiber between the buildings then use a transceiver to connect up to the switches. Switches like the cisco catalyst or HP procurve.

Getting a wireless signal out to my attached garage.

Do a cat6E run from the garage to where you netgear router is. This will give you the ability to use both wire and wifi in the garage via a switch and access point. If you plan on streaming to your TV a wired connection is best.

    Show me motorcycle mechanic tools

No amount of PB blaster is going to help if the fastener is galled, hence the reason for anti-seize. If a fastener critical then safety wire it (I do this with my rear axle nut). Yes I have lost a few bolts because I didn't use Loctite 243.

Need some help figuring out a tool lineup

On dirt bikes I would say torquing to spec is critical. I do a tear down on my bikes once a year and torque to spec. Suspension components after every race. If you're working on dirt bikes I would get an in/lb dial torque wrench. You run the risk of stripping threads using bigger torque...

    Show me motorcycle mechanic tools

I would categorize the tools you will need by the type of type of job you are going to do. I have only work on KTM's since the '89 model and in last five years I've only done suspension and Top ends as my friend does the botom end jobs. For example I would say these tools would be specialized...
