    Proto Pliers. Not worth the $.

    Couldn't disagree more. I have close to 30 Proto pliers with about 15 that i bought within the past 3 years. All are fine. For comparison I also have new Knipex & Klein & NWS. So maybe you got some "seconds" as someone suggested.

    I had a real cheap bottom box/top box 26". I think you are attacking it correctly with focusing it on the casters. don't know if you have the ability to weld but i have seen on Youtube where people have upgraded their casters but more importantly the bottom plate. Just something to think...
