"Build" a Matco swivel ratchet for $33

I want to do this with mine. What's the best way? Vice it down, heat it up and put a cheater bar on it? I only have a propane torch, is that hot enough or do I need a cutting torch?

If anyone that bought multiple sets decides they bought 1 too many and want to send one my way for a nice price it would very much be appreciated. I don't have any 12 points. :bounce::beer:

    Which Milwaukee Hackzall?

Nice tip! If you have to cut nails forget about the non-fuel m12. I would go m18 unless you are working in really tight areas where it wouldn't fit. The brushed has pretty nice power, but for $50 more I would get the fuel unless money is tight.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

No, I haven't. I have the brushed and am happy with it for my needs (installing pool equipment.). Although, they didn't have the Fuel version when I bought mine, and If I were buying today I would always go brushless.

    Storing a vise

It would probably fine with nothing, but if I wanted to be **** I'd spray it down with some Ballistol and cover it in a trash bag.

Yeah, the regular m12 hackzall is super underwhelming. Even cuts through PVC slow. Get the fuel m12 or m18.

    Gearwrench pass-thru sets

Yeah I guess you would get more clearance in certain situations. I'm just a DIY guy though, so I would think my flex head wrenches should have me covered.

    Vice grips without slop?

Judging by the dent in his thumb it looks like he is pushing on the pliers to create the slop. I like my Milwaukees too :dunno:

    Gearwrench pass-thru sets

Can anyone explain to me the advantage of pass through sockets over a ratcheting wrench set?

    Tekton Tools

I agree, they are nice tools for the price. I have Tekton sockets impact/chrome, ratcheting long wrenches, and combo wrenches. They come with nice holders and the chrome always looks fantastic. Sure they aren't quite as nice as the truck brands, but as a DIYer I can't justify spending spending...
