Are these factory or homebrew? Industro

I have a few of those, they came that way right from Industro. I wouldn't really think they were made for any specific application, t-handles just come in handy when you need to take off a lot of the same bolt as it makes the work a lot faster then using a ratchet. I use t-handles all the...

Anyone else having problems with SK?

I guess you just got lucky or possibly I am just pretty unlucky although out of the 200+ pieces included in the SK tools I ordered, I'm sure I could pick out 3 good ones as well, the rest on the other hand:headscrat I talked to a manager at SK directly and they are willing to do nothing more...

Anyone else having problems with SK?

Between waiting about a week for the stuff to get here after the order date, getting everything setup for use in my box, actually getting to inspect/use the stuff and then waiting for the vendor to send replacements, it just ended up dragging out to about 1.5 - 2 months. How exactly can I tell...

Anyone else having problems with SK?

About 2 months ago, I bought about $2000 worth of SK tools from a online SK dealer and in short have had nothing but issues with the tools. I bought SK complete socket/ratchet/extension sets in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in both metric and standard as well as 6 and 12 point. 3 of the ratchets did not...

    Anyone see anything good here?

With combined shipping, the total worked out to only be right around 200 bucks:bounce:

    Anyone see anything good here?

I saw all of these eBay auctions and couldn't resist considering the prices that it all worked out to be. I am sure I will be able to find some stuff worth keeping if I dig through all of that. A buddy of mine owns a sandblasting shop so I will be able to get all those rusty wrenches cleaned...

Does anyone have one of these?

http://www.millerwelds.com/products/mig/millermatic_211_autoset/ I know it just recently came out but it looks like a really versatile setup that would make for a killer welder, my local welding shop has it on sale for $950 and it is so tempting but my Lincoln 140C is less then a year old and I...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Wow, that is a pretty similar setup you got there:beer: I just recently scrapped that crappy regulator mine came with and got a Smith after the gauges stopped working. That is a huge tank, that welder must see a lot of use.

Are Matco & Craftsman the same?

The thing that really got me was the $25 Crafstman re-branded Knipex Cobras. I never would have thought that the markup on tools was so much that Craftsman could sell these at half the price Matco is selling these for and still make a profit. I cant really make too big of a fuss about the...

Are Matco & Craftsman the same?

I just spent a fair amount of money on a lot of new Matco tools and stumbled upon this site while I was doing some research and came to the determination that Craftsman tools are made by the same company that owns Matco, A Sears employee confirmed this. After looking around my local Sears, I...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Here is my stuff. I just got my 56" Harbor Freight combo and am VERY happy with it, I got both pieces for $750 out the door after buying the boxes on sale, then using a 20% discount coupon and then having the manager knock off an extra $150 due to some minor dents/dings. IMO, this box kicks...

    S-K users here?

Here are some pictures of some of the SK goodies I just bought for my new box. All of my sockets as well as a lot of my wrenches and a few ratchets/extensions are SK. I just spent the last few hours doing the exhaust manifold gaskets on my 04 F250 Powerstroke and all the tools worked...

    S-K users here?

This is my first post but I have been looking around and reading for a few weeks, this is a great site! I just wanted to point out that the JC Penny line of tools was made by New Britain, not SK. My father used to work there about 35 years ago assembling all the tools. At the time they made...
