    Skipping sizes in Metric Sets?

I always used to laugh at the 5.5mm sockets. I find that I use it often on fords, along with my 7mm swivel, which is great for ignition coils on the Crown Vics in our police fleet. I can't recall the size (6.7?) But I had to get the socket for a BMW fuel filter strap a few months back. I don't...

    Studebaker Hydraulic Vise on CL

Now THAT is an awsome vice, regardless of whom made it. I'm not sure what benefit it would have over a covential vice, but a great conversation piece, nonetheless.

    who builds the best 4banger?

I agree. This engine is relatively lightweight and strong. Oval trackers used them, Ford put turbos on 'em, the aftermarket still has great parts available and they are super cheap. I have personally seen many run 250-300 hp with a decent turbo, production head...on pump gas.

Most you would spend on a flashlight?

The question was how much.. sorry. I went off the track. $100.00 to $200.00 will buy a good quality light. Only buy a cheap one if your never going to need to rely on it.

Most you would spend on a flashlight?

As a firefighter, I always carried minimum 2 lights in my gear at all times. I carried a battery powered Streamlight clipped to my coat, and a "Little Ed" in my left pocket of my bunkers. I was religious on changing batteries every 30 days, regardless. I am a believer on preparedness. I still...

    Harbor Freight - Misleading Manufacturer?

Harbor Freight. The name explains that it comes in from the......Harbor. not too many domesticly manufactured items go out to sea and them back through the harbor. Not to be sarcastic but really? Like in the movie "You don't mess with the Zohan" the stereo shop name is "Going out of business".

Vise Grip style pliers - any made in the USA ?

Yeah the Chinese ones ****. Crappy material. I modify my tools. Sorry, my tools for unique uses. Chinese Visegrips do not take a weld like better USA material. Their either inconsistently soft or inconsistently brittle. Great way to ruin your day.
