SPRAY FOAM……. It’s a million dollar job installing it years ago but nowadays it’s a billion dollar industry doing repair damage from spray foam. YES! Spray foam works great for insulation but beware of what happens under the foam where there is no air movement.

Soldering wire to circuit board... 1st time. Advice welcomed.

What type of soldering iron do you have?…….. The reason I ask is because using the "120 volt direct plug in irons" MAY cause damage to the circuit board components.

    Sam’s Club -VS- Costco

Costco for me! You get money back with the Costco credit card and the Costco "no hassle return policy" is excellent. I buy all my tires from them and love the road hazard policy. Costco membership has surged because of the "lower cost" gas since the war. BTW! We had a BJ's membership for years...

Bonding Neutral in sub panel confirmation

That is true, however "IF" the furnace blower is 120 volts and it starts the same time as the condenser some lights may get brighter.……… A loose neutral will cause all sorts of wacky things. BTW! Without seeing and testing the ENTIRE system nobody can troubleshoot this issue over the internet.

Bonding Neutral in sub panel confirmation

Most of the time on an overhead service the utility "insul link" connections will fail at the weather head or pole and must be redone……. Typical utility issue that gets resolved with a phone call.

Bonding Neutral in sub panel confirmation

Only a main panel should have the neutral and ground bonded together. Sounds like you have an issue with a loose neutral so I suggest you call a licensed electrician who knows what to do.…….. Don’t wait on this issue because it may get worse and cause more problems.
