Harfor Freight has those parts storage boxes in their case storage bins for cheap in different sizes. They have three different socket trays; Hanson style, the old HF black trays and a 4-rail clip system on a metal base.

Exchanged a 1/4 dr broken older ratchet for a brand new one at Lowes no problem. Go to service desk, look for younger person or someone who looks bored, they don't seem to care.

Plus you can buy really good air tools at any estate sale or garage sale for just a few dollars because nobody wants them anymore.

Yup, as said above, start with basic pliers, wrenches, etc drawers and the sort from there as you use them.

Lowes has a new look for their Kobalt ratchets. The good news is they're clearancing out their old ratchets! Picked up a long hard-handle flex head 3/8dr ratchet for around $32. All the others were piled on the clearance rack with it.

Nice tool estate sale this morning about an hour away. Got up etra early so I could be the first to welcome all the tool guys. Guy had a good sized work shop out back with an old roller Snap-on tool box full of Mac and Snap-on. I managed to snake out with a good portion of it.

Replaced the ignition switch assembly on the Escape. Key goes in on the right side and rotates a u-joint assembly to turn the ignition switch on the left side of the steering column. Over time the u-joint assembly wears and doesn't transfer the movement to the ignition switch. Common problem...
