    Let's see your toolbox.

I'll have it posted in a couple weeks, but I've got a 60" Snap-On Epiq in gun metal gray on the way. Should be here in 4 weeks or so.

    Show us your portable toolbox!

Posted this over in another thread, but my Snap-On KRA65C. Mostly threw it together as a grab and go for line maintenance, but I use it everyday in the hangar as well.

Do you think I got a good deal?

That's about a steal. I'll have to keep my eyes on the look out. I check eBay pretty often for a lot of things. Definitely happy I bought the SO. That'd get old very fast having to remove every fastener that way. Hoping I won't need any more sizes than what I got. If I do, I guess I'll buy...

Do you think I got a good deal?

I see one on Northern tool for $89.99. Looks pretty compact. Something to look into. May pick up a set if I can ever get them cheap enough. Then I'll have to buy a 3/8" gun as well. Currently don't have air at the house, so I'm using a 1/2" Milwaukee Fuel HO Impact. Love it so far.

Do you think I got a good deal?

Haha no offense taken at all on the HF comment. I shop there on occasion. Some stuff just can't be beat. Which compact 1/2 gun are you referring to? Yes. He was able to get me a deal on a 1/4" Techwrench at the show. He said that's where this deal came from. Hoping for more deals soon.

Do you think I got a good deal?

Thanks for the responses, guys. Do you recommend having 3/8" impact sets for home? I know I'll use the half, but unsure if the 3/8" sets are necessary? Thanks again.

Do you think I got a good deal?

This past week at work the Snap-On guy comes through. Went out to his truck and he showed me this deal they had on impact sockets. At work, we don't need impact sockets, but I had been wanting some for home for awhile. This was the deal. Buy...

What is your favorite Brand of Tools?

All depends. I like Snap-On screwdrivers, Gearwrench for ratcheting wrenches(but their sockets and ratchets seem pretty up to snuff), Knipex for most of the pliers I use, but it's really all a matter of preference. Gotta find out for yourself what you like. Like some have mentioned, Craftsman...

    Need advice on longer wrenches

They have a 0* offset or flat wrench, then they also have ones with 15* offset. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/tools.asp?tool=hand&Group_ID=681624&store=snapon-store http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/tools.asp?tool=hand&Group_ID=675046&store=snapon-store

Could use Expert advice on Snap On Buy

As said above, I would buy these tools in a heartbeat. Then you can keep what you want and sell the rest on eBay. You may even be able to trade them in against other Snap-On tools with your dealer. I do this quite frequently with no trouble.

    Which milwaukee m18 impact?

eBay bidders, do they ever shop around??

Seller probably has the option to relist the item. On multiple occasions I have seen the same item for sale a week or two after it's original sale where it was said to have sold. Makes things seem kinda..ehhhh..

    Need advice on longer wrenches

I own the Snap-On double box wrenches. They refer to them as "High Performance" wrenches. I don't find myself using the bigger sizes, but the ones I do use are great.

Are all rivet guns the same?

Ran into the same issue. Most of the time the next rivet will push the old stem out it seems.

Are all rivet guns the same?

For pneumatic gun, I've got an old Chicago Pneumatic 3x I bought from the YardStore. As for pulling rivets, I've got some Chinese made Craftsman I picked up from Sears for $19. Both work great!

Who has a really small tool box?

Figured I'd dig this old thread up. My small toolbox is also a KRA-65C model. Purchased August 2012 on eBay. What's inside: Gearwrench X-Beam 9/16" Gearwrench 1/4"-3/4" Stubby Ratcheting Wrenches Snap-On Midget Wrench Set 1/8"-3/8" Snap-On 1/4" Locking Flex Ratchet Astro 1/4" Gearless...

What kind of tools have you found in the road??

Latest find was a Made in USA Craftsman 1/2" drive 12mm 12 point socket. Most ironic thing was that I was about to buy one in 3/8" drive that day. Need it to remove those Ford driveshafts. I've also found a bigger size Gerber multi tool. Ended up selling it to a buddy at work for $25.

Build a simple, inexpensive, 100% customizable, aluminum pliers rack for your toolbox

I have since made a few more of these, and painted them, but here's a decent picture of how I made a plier rack. Took some rack that you might use in a closet or laundry room, cut off the extra, bent in on a sheet metal break at work and there ya have it.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Yes. The box had mounting points for both types of wheels. All of the KRL boxes I've seen can accept both types.
