    SO ratchet repair kits

I was looking for help to see if I have the correct part numbers. I have a F936 and a T936 (1/4 & 3/8) and wanted to keep a repair kit on hand "just in case". Both ratchets are currently fine. It looks like the kits are rkrf936 and rkrt936, but on the SO website one comes up normally, the...

    Crawford Plier Users

Here is my new one, they don't appear to be similar to channelocks as far as i can tell, but I have seen ones similar to these with different colored handles- identical to the non Snap On Katuns, and similar but not the same as the Jensen pliers. As far as corrosion, they are not...

    Crawford Plier Users

I have some crawford stuff and it is real good. The only one of the pliers I have is the 6 inch long nose and they are my favorite... I use them everyday for copier work. Not sure how they would handle heavy duty use, but so far they have been the most versatile long nose I have used. They...

Best Source / Brand - Wire Terminals

T&B are good, Molex (ETC), Nichifu, 3M, Amp, and KS Terminals are all good. Stay away from some of the budget terms. Also the proper crimp is very important.

    JIS screwdriver

Check the Stanley Supply Services website, they have some JIS sets that may be Jensen. Also the Snap on #2 ACR bit is machined to work well in JIS screws.

    Nice reasonably priced torx sets?

Doesn't Zephyr make the insert bits that are pressed in the Snap On body?

    Nice reasonably priced torx sets?

That looks ok (I haven't used that one), but some german cars will also have some torx plus tamper proof 5 pt one you will also need in addition to that.

    torx question

My bad!! It is a Boxer brand. Its out in the truck right now, so I'm too lazy to go and double check on the t35 bit. Also, looking at a set on ebay, they dont list a t7 bit in it... What I wouldn't give to have that set be all Wiha bits including the torx plus and tp tamper proof.. :)

    torx question

I bought one of those 100 piece bit sets (Bulldog brand Tiawan) Seems pretty nice, and it has a t-35 bit in there.

    Klein or VACO nutdrivers?

I was just thinking that! You beat me to it. The SAE ones are translucent and smell a bit, and the metric ones are black. I carry a black one for work, it has a smell to it as well, but its not too bad.

    Which Torque Wrench to Buy???

The HF 1/2 i have had for several years is working fine. Typically I only use it on lug nuts . It feels acurate and consistant every time (to me at least). The HF 3/8 I had seemed like it didn't want to click every time on lower setting, but they let me swap it out. I havent had a chance to...

Pittsburg (HF) socket set at costco

Thats interesting, prolly the same supplier as the Pittsburgh, just using Powerbuilt as the name. Those aren't on the website, and all PB ratchets are either teardrop or they have a black selector with finger spin thing. Never seen those at Kragens or Pepboys. Either way, for the price, they...

    U.S. vs Canadian Craftsman Tools

I could be wrong, but for some reason Cman tools in Canada are made by Stanley. Years back they also made Cman here in the states as well, but switched production a while back with Danaher. Now Stanley seems to be making their stuff overseas, but should still be of good quality.

Where to get one of these?

I guess I never checked amazon, I think I'll go for that one and report back on the COO. I have also found a couple of industrial supply places, no luck, but I browsed the stores for some time, pretty cool stuff at those places!!

Where to get one of these?

Hello, I'm looking to find one of these bits. Its a torx plus bit #20. On it, the markings are "TP20 USA". I have looked everywhere, but no one seems to have them, or most places haven't even heard of "torx plus" It just seems like a standard 1/4" hex bit thats pressed into the holder...
