At work it’s mostly sae with some 10mm on consoles and cabinets. At my home shop except for metric on my vehicles and atvs it’s all mostly sae. I have a massive amount of sae hardware that gets used on anything I build or repair.
Place a washer with a slightly smaller diameter than the broken bolt and weld the center closed. Place a nut on the washer and weld the center of the nut to the top. Back it off with a wrench or socket. Don’t get frustrated if the first couple attempts break off. The heat is getting deeper every...
Ordered the 2554-20 and three torx bits from Acme during the recent sale. Received a shipping email last week with a delivery date for today. Came home to a box with just the three bits😭 The wait continues🙄
Get a washer that has a hole smaller than the threaded hole. Place the washer over the hole and Weld the hole closed and place a nut on the washer. Weld the nut to the washer filling the area inside the nut. Use a socket or wrench to turn the nut and remove the problem. It may take a few tries...

Who other than a tool polisher takes pictures of the tools they break? I have broke a ton of **** up here in the rust belt. Yes some from abuse and some just from yanking the hell out of the wrench. I broke a deep 3/4”-3/8 drive snappy socket the other day. No pictures it just sits on the desk...
My plans are to ditch my electric and air staplers. I’m going to keep in rotation a manual arrow loaded with stainless staples, a few hammer tackers and the Milwaukee. I have run close to five thousand staples with it since late last year.
How are those wrenches far better in design or durability? I’m a tool pack rat, and have well over a thousand wrenches in every flavor. Nothing feels or works better than Snap on in my opinion.
Exactly!!! I broke my Milwaukee a few times before upgrading to a Snap on. Milwaukee was great with the warranty process, but the head is a weak link. Been beating on the snappy for quite some times with no issues. The extended version is on my list.
