Here is my rant about my lift installers

You should also ask him for a COI from his business insurance carrier before any more work is performed. It should name you and your address as an additional insured.

    Phoenix vs Atlas tire changer

I have the Atlas set, no problems. Both handle my 315/30/18 Hoosier R7 tires no problem. I would not use them on super expensive wheels.

Running 115v and cat5e in parallel but separate conduits.

Cat 5e or 6 UTP does not have shielding. STP does. In any case it will not be an issue with EMT or PVC given the separation of the conduits. Go to your local Graybar, Crescent, Viking, AccuTech, or Anixter with a city desk and ask for Water Blocked if your going underground in conduit...

Call all A/V Pros: Can you tell me if this gear is any good: School PA system

Unless you are after some advanced sound applications, it seems to me that you should be able to find another mixer amp that will just bolt right in. The proposed gear is all very nice, but if you're just making announcements, its overkill.

Run my own gas line to garage?

Center Point Energy put in 200' and a new meter from the street to my building for $600.00. They even quoted it first. A plumber wanted $1200, and that was only 100' from the house.

Variety of lines in underground conduit

You could pull a fiber cable with the power. Just be sure it doesn't have any conductors in it as strength members.

Rotary SPOA9 - can it be shortened?

I had my SPOA10 installed in a 11' garage. I added 4" to it via 4x4 wood blocks on top of the uprights and went over the rafters with the cross member and then installed the safety switch below the ceiling. The safety cables just had enough length. Just be sure to position it so the uprights...

    Fiber Optics

You will probably wind up with a 1GB connection so 62.5 will be fine. Find out what equipment you will connect and see what kind of connectors are used then order a pre-terminated cable to match. Be careful when pulling and avoid as much tension on the cable as you can. Many times they can be...

Rotary spoa9- will I be happy wth it?

The front arms on a asymmetric will also point forward so you can drive long vehicles through and get the right balance. i have a SPO10 and it works fine for anything I've tried.
