    Realistic max torque for impacts

    Have heard this explained as breakaway torque is the torque applied as the impact is first "fired" and working torque is the torque applied to the fastener thereafter, I don't know if that is accurate or not...comments? Honestly I find most of the the numbers and explanations a little fishy...

    I know you blew off the other like-minded posters but I felt I had to say this. Look around for a used Snap-On 1/2". Local trucks, craigslist, eBay, what-have-you. They kick ***. I used to use co-workers' at a trailer shop and they are impressive. Rarely did I have to get out the ol' MG725...
