    I'm not sure how your cost would compare to how they are up here in South Dakota but when I bought my house I was told my 30x40 with 12" ceilings fully insulated, sheet rocked, and electrical cost around 60k in the spring of 2012.

    Does finishing off a garage add value to a home?

    When I bought my home my finished shop added no value over the house that recent sold next door with an unfinished shop, both shops being the same size. However it sure helped my decision to make an offer and offer a little closer to the asking price.
