    20.5x22 = small 2 car

    Me too, but can you even put an 18' door on a 20' wall?

    best job you ever had?

    I've worked at, in order: ---High School--- Pizza Hut as a waiter. Sucked. McDonalds as a cashier. Sucked. They stopped putting me on the schedule for two months straight, so... Wendy's. Sucked. Got a call three months in telling me I was fired from McDonalds because I hadn't shown up. WTF? I...

    20.5x22 = small 2 car

    Yup. They'll do minor changes, but anything major they don't like. The wife is dead set on these guys. No getting around it. They're not bad. I like their floorplans, materials, staff, and quality of work. They just do one thing, and do it well. We're waiting for the next section of lots to open...

    20.5x22 = small 2 car

    So I'm looking at the specs for the house we're going to have built, and I notice that the builder's plans call for a 20.5' x 22' garage with a 16' door. I didn't really think anything of it until I tried to put a pair of full-sized sedans in the picture. Their mirrors are almost touching! Okay...

    What flooring is this?

    For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed about having a garage like the F1 teams have. She who must be obeyed, the keeper of the purse strings, has granted me a boon. My Christmas present this year is that we get to go to our home builder, and tell them, "We want a house." Our down payment...

    Any 12x20 ideas?

    The jacket will probably get sold as I've not ridden in months, and not owned a bike in years. It barely fits anymore. Apparently I've put on some weight since I bought it 6 years ago. The brooms/mops/rakes/etc will go once I get a shed. Until then... Slatwall or similar might not be a bad idea...

    'You must be this tall to ride the garage' -- ideas for access control for kids?

    Why not just install a deadbolt a foot or two above the doorknob? Put the key side in the garage and the knob side in the house. By the time he's old enough to reach it, he'll already posses the mental capacity to open any kind of locking device you have. As an added bonus, it's an extra layer...

    Any 12x20 ideas?

    Hi guys, long time reader, first(ish) time poster. Some of the most beautiful garages I have ever seen are on this board. Folks here have come up with brilliant methods of organizing, hiding, and/or storing their tools. I've been introduced to brands I didn't know existed, and given second...

    Project Garage Condo

    Beautiful garage. As to your line of work, dot.com seems to be spoken for by a domain squatter right now. I assume you mean that you work for or own an online business? If so, what is your role in the business, and what's your site?

    Are picture tube tv's really that obsolete ?

    This is one of the reasons that I got rid of our Tube-TV - Our XBox 360 was displaying text at 1080p, which, on a CRT, comes out as an unreadable blur. Not very nice when you can't figure out what's going on in a game because you can't read the text.
