For OldCarGuy...... Here is the thread I referenced in the flooring section regarding my experience with the armorseal for the floor. It sounds like you are happy in the end with your finished product just would've liked to avoid the "extra steps". Anyways, here is the thread I was...

    OldCarGuy’s Sherwin William’s Epoxy adventure.

I can't see how this is nothing short of trying to be confrontational and serves no real purpose to say it. Regarding this thread, having just done my floors in early november with the same armorseal products I'll respond with my thoughts. I think the advice of the primer was the only issue...

A shot blast machine is used to rough-up the surface of your floor so that the two part epoxy paint will adhere better ........ which will help it to hold up to abuse over a long period of time. It is another method as compared to acid etching the concrete.... Keith

New to Forum - Intro and Pics

I'll just add to the list of those nodding in approval......very nice attention to detail. I also agree that a nice, clean shop is not a deterrent from getting work done but a way to allow for effective working......... Granted my last shop wasn't quite that detailed, it was pretty nice and...
