I cut my flooring around the lift legs for the reason to allow the floor to expand. Looks as though it's contributing.

ZTR will cut down mow times IMO. When I swapped over to a ZTR, I cut half hour off my time from start to finish and I was exactly like you at the time (1 acre, no trees). Now, trees, fence, other objects in the way, I'm glad I made the move then. Oh and stay away from CM ztr's.

It all depends on what it is. Hand tools I throw in a pile and get them warrantied when I have time. I usually have doubles/ triples of the common sizes. Power tools I either fix or give to a local guy to tinker with. Sometimes he will get things going with parts from 2-3. I buy him lunch and...
