Fergus, bust out a flash light and check everything ! I`m going through a similar project and heard all sorts of popping, creaking and snapping. I found my rafters pulling away from the ridge board ! And most people I questioned about it said over and over again GO SLOW, the garage didn`t get...

A messy garage is annoying in my book, I can`t wait till the remodel is done ! I can`t find anything and have wasted tons of time looking for my hammer, which I left on my 8 foot ladder. Don`t ask how I found it there because I can`t remember. :headscrat The organized shops are more my style...

You have to assign the DVR an IP address ( ex. 192.168.1.99 ) it depends on what your network uses now. Most that I`ve seen are 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 . The 0 or 1 are different. Just go into the DVR network setup and turn on DHCP, scroll down and look for something that says reset network...

Istephen is right, it`s been many weeks of tightening and jacking to get my garage back in shape. It`ll be worth it and congrats on taking the challenge on ! I can`t wait to see it done.

I will never use a wood burner again after almost dieing in a garage fire caused by one. A birds nest blew out of the eave an onto the stove pipe outside. I never new it till the ceiling insulation and plastic was on fire. My steel roll up door was jammed so I had to kick it out which resulted...
