Picked this old Craftsman buffer/sander kit. Just thought it was too cool with original box and in the great condition to pass it up for $8.

Very jealous, I too have been searching local CL for one and have had no luck. Missed out on an old pair of gold Craftsman shaper and bandsaw on pedestal stands last week when I couldn't find help to get them loaded into my jeep.... what a bummer. Congrats on your sander though!
Definitely can, completely missed it the first time through. I can get you more pictures tonight if you'd like them. Also, with you being from MN it makes it all the more likely as that's where they're from.... I believe.

This just popped up on local craigslist... looks mighty similar... that's about all I can help with though
Picked this one up tonight with all that was in it and picked up the little SK-Wayne Metric set. I'm missing, I believe, the smallest socket in the SK set but not sure.

I'll be the first to admit bench grinders aren't really my thing but this seems like a pretty good deal.

Still digging through them now... Pretty much got through all the drawers. The tools up top is what's left after throwing out the broken and just junk. Quite a bit of cool old stuff in them.
The Craftsman has been used and used hard but it should still clean up fairly good.
Just one bucket...
Picked up a few old boxes this weekend... The Craftsman and Powr-Kraft were stuffed full of old miscellaneous tools and odds and ends that I'm still trying to go through. The Huot is in great shape and was built into an old man's workbench. Some of the original brochures were left in it as...
