    Just remember the less the yard has to do, to what you take them the more their likely to pay you for it.....Insl. copper wire is $1.00 a lb...stripped you get $2.90, or you may have a large piece of brass, but one small set screw will drop your price over a dollar a lb. Strip down everything...

    That's the same saw that I have in my shop. Just set your stock turn it on and find something else to do.....it'll shut its self off when its done. That was a great buy!

    Well Roots i'm sure that your right about that......The reason i posted the question on the fabrication page is simple. My compressor is made from a hot water heater, my work bench from bed rails and have jack stands made from brake drums.....I try to sell a load of scrap at least once a week...

    Has anybody built anything to remove the insulation from copper wire? My idea is two steel wheels that adjust to split the insulation. If anybody has tackled this, show us what you did. Thanks

    Work table steel top

    Here's what I done with an old welding table I got from my Grandpa's shop.....It was rusted badly and covered with loctite...good God that man loved that stuff...anyway I put a wire brush in a drill and worked in foot squares, chipped off the loctite then blew off the dust and heated it up with...

    Thats where i buy my metal, I build my own. I will say this, if your in a hurry their the guys to get. In 3 days or less they'll be gone and you'll be moving your stuff in! I'd say call 'em up and turn 'em loose....good luck oh and by the way in a few years if you want to add-on their colors...
