gladiator seems to be built better, but the price is pretty good right now on the craftsmans.....I'm going to sears tonight to look at them both side by side.

looks like I'm going with the craftsman cabinets, they are on sale until the end of the week. $99 for the wall cabinet, $299 for the 5 drawer base, and $250 for the standup. I'm having a 15' custom steel workbench fabricated by a friend.

Tile looks great, this 750' garage took me 1 day of my time and $700 in material.

I was allowed to pull the full 26' span with 14" IPI 700 series joists 12" OC. If I had to do it over I would use 900 series, there is a little "bounce" but nothing bad. I did not want any posts in the garage. I doubled the one under the partition wall upstairs, since I have cathiedral...

great looking garage, you might consider doing a "eye brow" overhang over the doors, my framer talked me into it, and it looks great, and keeps the rain from entering the garage with the door open.

not sure yet, I may build a small enclosure in the back of the house and run the air pipe into the garage, that way I won't have to listen to it in there.

possibly, I may line the wall where the slop sink is going with cabinets from baldheadcabinets.com and put workbench on top, still have to work out these details.

you mean the landing filled with ****? or the space under the stairs? under the stairs is going to be from left to right.....refridge, compressor, workbench. I am going to build some sort of slide out drawer under the landing by the front door.

When I post the interior pics, you'll see that I've got one window in the back and two on the side, so I get pretty good natural light in there, so far I've got 4-dual 8' HO flouresent lights and 2-4' dual's over the garage door(on a seperate switch), so I get pretty good lighting at day or night.

well, I had the car stereo stuff leftover from another project, and I figured why not give it a custom "flush mounted" look. I guess I could drive the speakers with a home reciever, but the ohms are different. I may just go that route and use the car stereo on the back deck in a water tight...
