    Small Hole in Porcelain Tile

That's a pretty large hole to be in a tile. 3/4" deep? I guess that must go into the under layment or cement backer. I would replace the tile if you have or could find one.

    Cleaning Nicotine Garage Doors

Many years ago i bought a pool table from a bar. I tried fantastic, 409, even went as far as using gumout carb cleaner. What I found to work was berkebile 2+2 gum cutter. I don't know if the formula is the same as it was in the '70's though.

New product ideas for Harbor Freight?

Socket and wrench sets that don't skip popular sizes. I have a metric combination wrench set and it skips 13 and 18 which are 2 of my most used sizes. It also skips 16, 20, 23, and 25 which aren't used as much.

Differences between HF 56" Series 2 boxes w/different part numbers

Thanks for confirming that. I've been looking for a 56" blue. I was at 3 stores and all they had were the lesser red or black. It's good to know these actually do exist.

HF 44 series 2 Black Friday

The Harbor freight Black Friday sale will be Friday through Saturday, three days. If you want something from the ad you don't have to go on Friday. This cabinet is the only thing I noticed that was a good price over the everyday prices.

    Ups at its finest...

Fedex is no prize either. I got some stuff from Rockauto and the driver probably thought he was doing me a favor, leaving it in front of the garage door instead of on the covered porch, a few feet away . It rained and the boxes turned to mush. It was a good thing it was heavily greased brake...

    Off-season wheel storage - ideas?

Here's some brackets to mount flush against the wall that are made to hold wheel and tires. Looks a bit stronger than the ones in your OP. They cost a bit more of course. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XCGZ7RJ/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Seeking advice on how to fix an older Craftsman rolling tool chest circa 1980

I have a similar cabinet with the five drawers and lower door. Mine does the same thing and as I remember always did. It's odd that you don't have a lock underneath the door, that is what would keep it closed. I always leave the door on mine open and don't lock it.

HF 1.5 Ton Aluminum Jack Unstuck

Thanks. Great pictures and explanation. I have the steel 2 ton 68050 long reach/low profile jack with the same problem of the valve sticking. I didn't know that they came apart that easily.

How many tools have you worn out through honest use?

I wore out a couple of Snap on 1/2" drive impact sockets. Can you abuse these? They were used on my Ingersol rand 231 which isn't the most powerful gun out there. A Craftsman 3/8 raised panel ratchet was rebuilt and replaced.

    Looking for Used Stihl Chainsaw - Which One? 08, 038, 041, 044?

I wouldn't consider any of the saws you have linked in your original post. They are old, meaning they lack safety features. None of them have a chainbrake or any effective anti-vibe. The 372 you mentioned is much newer and has all the safety features and it has a great power to weight ratio. I...

    Torx head bolt?

This same thing happened to me two weeks ago. I had success tapping on a 12 point socket on the bolt head then turning with a ratchet. I tried vise grips, grinding a slot, hitting with a chisel and hammer.
