What made you pick stick built over metal or vice versa?

Man, that looks clean. What kind of insulation are you using?

What made you pick stick built over metal or vice versa?

This is a really good idea actually and one I’ll probably implement. If I can tell the concrete contractors everything we need done, it’d probably be much faster to get something in the works. I’ve heard of this a few times too, but usually it’s mandated by an HOA. My community won’t even let...

What made you pick stick built over metal or vice versa?

I’ll agree with that. Steel, lumber, concrete, even gas has been all over the place the last few years. It seems steel and lumber have finally began to fall. That’s why pretty much every company selling prefab steel buildings is running some kind of 5% or 10% discount right now. I just hope...

What made you pick stick built over metal or vice versa?

That’s a very good point I didn’t even consider. Those red iron buildings are awesome. I desperately want to find a manufacturer who can cover the same territory we’re currently covering with our square tubed buildings.

What made you pick stick built over metal or vice versa?

Also, I’m sorry my signature photo is so large. I’ve tried downsizing it 1/4th the size several times and it always looks the same. If anyone has any advice, my ears are open!

What made you pick stick built over metal or vice versa?

We sell metal garages, sheds, carports, etc. I often find customers debating between a metal build vs a stick build. I’ve lost a few sales to it. I just wanted to see what the true garage nuts think. Is it about ascetics, price, longevity, quality, etc? Something else? Has anyone here...

    WiFi Extender

If you get a second router, as long as the router is on a different channel, you should be good to go. Most routers will automatically scan WiFi networks near them and decide which channel will have the least amount of interference automatically. My Netgear Nighthawk does this. You can Google...

Shed Plywood Floor: How to Protect?

We use LP ProStruct floors in our sheds. The floors sit off the ground by a few inches. Haven’t had any issues so far. https://lpcorp.com/products/outdoor-living/products/flooring

    WiFi Extender

The power line adapters that use your electrical wiring are the absolute best way to do this, but they really depend on your wiring. They are also the most expensive option. Normal Wi-Fi extenders act similar to repeaters. They will keep boosting the signal, but they will lose some data (lower...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT My 16 x 24 in Michigan

Wow, that’s crazy compared to today! I know it’s not the same, but for just the steel shell in Michigan (built closer on center), we’d already be at least $8,560.

Building an office, garage workshop inside a 32x44' metal building

The Concepts app for IOS/Android/Windows is pretty good for creating floor plans and concept drawings. Morpholio trace is also good, but I’d say it’s better tailored to architects.

“Local Business Supporter” or something similar?

Hey guys, Brody here from Midwestern Structures. We sell steel buildings in several states in the Midwest and are looking to get our name out there a little bit. We are just now getting everything up and running and are probably a few weeks-months from closing our first sale. We’re launching...

It looks great! Do you mind me asking how much it cost for the shell? Trying to get an idea of Michigan pricing for customers. What’s the snow load?

    I'm having some problems posting.

Mine was a little buggy yesterday too, wonder if they’re having issues.
