It is hard to tell if they are locking or not. I prefer a locking flex myself. I would guess they are just the ball style. I will see next week if my Mac guy has any more info. He didn't mention them while he was there and I found them in the catalog after he left.

I Picked up a new catalog from my Mac Tool man on Friday. I was pleased to see an advertisement for their 90 tooth pear head ratchets that will be coming out. They will have a variety of sizes and be manufactured in Texas.:thumbup:

In my opionion Matco makes one of the best boxes. It is what they call the 6s now. They are pretty much the same except for the trim and now you can order multiple long drawers. The 5s was the 7535 and the 4s is the proformance series of boxes. It was a 25 or 35 or 45 depending on the bank size.

Picked up some Channellock pliers and Eklind allen wrenches form Menards. They are having their made in the USA sale. Allens were buy one get one for 1.99 and will replace some that I have lost. The 3 piece Channellock kit with screwdriver was only 14.99.

I too have had these for at least a decade or so and I have had zero issues using them on FWD or RWD vehicles. I also prefer them to metal ramps.
