i tore it down a hour ago, and all the seals looked good. So i reassembled it and adjusted the overload valve. Mine was 1.7 turns from the bottom. It still does the same thing as before. I pump it up with myself on it and it goes up a inch and slowly falls down.

i have a set of their flex ratcheting wrenches. I've had them for prob 5 years. Never had a issue. Work great.

Ya most likely that recall with the brake light switch will be the culprit. I've been having to do the same thing with the toyota camrys and venzas at my job for a similar recall.

I see no point in using a 1/4" extension that is over 18 inches. Anything that long will just twist and flex and you won't be able to tighten down the fastener to spec.

Hey guys does anyone have any experience with the old style craftsman tap and die sets? The sets that were all USA made. I'm about to pull the trigger on a set from my neighbor for a good price. He said he never used it and was looking to get rid of it.

I remember seeing a review on hein-Werner jack stands and seeing the QC on them was just horrible. Especially for an American made product. I personally have a few sets of jack stands, one from hf and 2 sets of the craftsman 4 ton model. All have worked perfect for me with no issues.

I've used the style spring compressor you rent at auto parts stores. I ended up buying mine from auto zone and they are branded oem. I have used them to do prob 20 sets of lowering springs for friends and they have always worked well for me. No issues.

I have the vim set. I just used the the largest one to tighten down a hub bolt to 180 ft lbs plus 1/2 turn. I ended up breaking the 1/2 to 3/8 adapter before I reached the full 1/2 a turn.
