I paid $80 to a dealer at one of those tons of snap on dealers at one place. Can't remember what it was called. They had them in 6 pack plastic display and it said made in the usa on it but it isn't on the tool itself. I also don't care for the plastic switch.
How do these come apart anyway...
My dad, brother-in-law and a couple friends work at Vermeer Manufacturing. They do as ihredo4 says they also make some agricultural stuff. Here is their website: www.vermeermfg.com
I had an American made 1/2 goodyear air hose split after 30 minutes of ~100 psi on it. I think it was because I bought it at HF that it was bad. :eyecrazy:
Well that is a good comparison.
How about this one. An american company outsoursed its tool manufacturing to China to save their company or they would have had to close their doors. But the money paid for such tools stays in the US since it is an American run company.
Now a Japanese company...

They all do this costco, target, walmart, etc.
Edit to add sometimes the different model number will come with a cable where the non "extra letters" will be the bare device.
That is even better then this:

The one with the pull out shelf is the 41". I have special ordered the 56" but they are telling me it will be up to 8 weeks before they can fill the order. I got it for under $1k and 12 months no interest. It looks like it also comes with 6 wheels.
I think they are $250 only at the store. All the stores in Iowa that I have been to have had one on display. It was on the back page of their flyer and I think it said "while supplies last".
They also have the gearwrench 8? piece for $30. The store in CR is also including the xbeams for that...
For the cart. Which means you probably won't be able to use a 20% off on it. From the other thread on this cart it looks like it has sold on "sidewalk sales" for $89 and you could use the 20% off on it making it ~$72.
I agree. Do the other round heads have plastic adjuster knobs? I used it the other night to replace a tensioner and the swivel head was awsome (never used one before).
Anyone know how to take it apart? Would like to take a look inside.
