    My little paradise

Grandfathers are something special and unreplaced. Lucky for me my dad is slowing turning out to be a lot like my Papa was. Looks like you have a lot of vintage tools and boxes with great stories and memories!

    Routing wire outside..

Is it alright and will it be ok with the power company if I run wire from my main panel in the garage through the outside wall using the existing hole to the meter? my main panel is about a foots distance to the meter outside. I'd like to go right from the panel box along the same path through...

    steel or stick built???

I have a metal building. 24x36. I didn't have mine insulated like most do with the insulation between the structure and tin. Should have. I'm wiring and insulating now. It will be as sealed as you make it and still cost less than wood. IMOA they don't look as good as a garage built to match the...

    Storing a Wheelbarrow?

If you have a fence then you could use one of the above methods and hang it on the fence. Also home depot and Lowes sell these tracks. One house on my way home actually has his wheel barrow and his racks and shovels hanging on the back if his house.

    Corrugated Tin...

That's what I was going for. I'll go full length walls though. I like the look of the tin. Noise, it's not a problem, earplugs. I might even be able to save on lighting with the bright tin. Looks good 5lima30. I'll just have to figure a mounting system for all my signs and helicopter memorabilia.

    Corrugated Tin...

Has anyone used corrugated tin to line the inside walls of their shop or garage? I'm going to run all my conduit for my wiring, and have foam sprayed between the perlins. I want something that will look industrial and protect the foam insulation. Corrugated tin seems perfect and looks awesome...

Craftsman Model 100 Drill Press Refurbish

I'm cleaning up my first drill press now. It's a Craftsman also. I'll probably get grief for it, but i painted mine canary yellow. All the original badging was trash. I did it because the press was cheap but now I'm having a blast redoing it.

Another vintage craftsman Drill Press re-do!

How did you shine everything up so well? I'm working on one, not so old, not going original colors. Trying to clean up the chuck, post, and surface of the platform.

    Craftsman Drill Press resto..

I'm working on restoring an old craftsman drill press. It's missing the top cover, but other than that in sound condition except needing a good cleaning and fresh paint. What's the best way to shine up the levers and the post? I'm sand blasting all the cast parts before I paint them. I'm not...

Auxiliary heat air circulation for shop

I'm going to go with a radiant tube heating system that uses propane. My shop is 24x36' uninsulated w/ 14' ceiling. Friend of mine uses one in his metal building with no insulation, has a thermostat, keeps his building @ 70 when it's in the teens outside. He only uses it for a few hours a day...
