Above 1200 Sq/FT The Underground Upgrade (or the opposite of The Flying Shop)

Now for something different. The floor slab was of unknown strength and thickness. Best guess was 3000 and 4”. Turned out to be a little less than 4”. The Mohawk lift requires 6” of 4000 minimum. In a monolithic slab. Since this slab was no where near spec my option was to cut a 5x14 section...

Ever find a good use for this?

I use mine more often than I realize. Lots of interior and exterior trim and custom aluminum panels on purpose built cars

1965 Mustang Raptor Build (3.5L TT Ecoboost)

Subscribed. This looks like fun. I’m planning a similar venture with my 66 f100 but with an old school FE power plant and t-5 trans.

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Well after a pretty exhaustive search I finally found the lower cowl drains. Repops sold in pairs 160 bucks. Not to bad considering how much time I’d spend fabricating one. Best part the are only 2 hours from me. I’ll grab a new core support and rear bumper brackets while there. Thanks again...

Right in the middle of the shop build out my brother finds a deal too good to pass up. I’ve been looking for a mill for quite a while but few were in the price range I was willing to spend and those that were became no bargain once I figured in shipping. An old machinist about 30 miles away...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Randy, would you know where I could find the passenger side cowl drain or at least the lower half. No one that I can find repops this and all the trucks I’ve found out here are worse than this. I can make this part but I’ll have 40 plus hours in it. I’d rather spend 10 and use the other...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Unfortunately I didn’t document the build between 1980 and 84. Film cameras lol. I’m glad I had a pro photographer get a couple shots of it at the World of Wheels show back in ‘85. Considering I built that thing in my driveway it turned out pretty well. Good enough for 3rd place truck at that...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Thanks! Nice work bays! IS that a pic of black/red ranger on wall? A extremely rare color combo. Friend has a '64 Sport/XL/Ranger black/red AZ since new. Great color combo. Thanks Randy. Yes that is a photo of my 65 that I restored back in 1984. It was a one owner truck that I got for 1000...

Thanks Blackbyrd and gearhead1. It is nice to be back home. I grew up in NC about 10 miles from where we are now. As it turns out I was in a car accident on this same road when I was 18. (Stupid kids doing stupid stuff on a dirt road 30 plus years ago 😂). Yes the ceiling is 1/8” Masonite with...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Randy I’ve been following your builds for years. My first truck was a 65 f100 custom cab w/ranger package. Black with red interior. I’m currently building a 66 custom cab. Your work is an inspiration for my hack job attempts.

Ping-Pong Problem (Solved! We're in fun mode now...)

Love the table. I always sucked at ping pong and tennis. Poor hand eye coordination. Love watching people play that are really good.
