    2015 Garage SaleThread

Hit my first yard sale today a half hour before it started. They where wheeling out this gem from the garage. 1985 Honda XL 250r, 3500 original miles. I asked how much, $200. Bought it in a second. They had the pink still. Original owner even drained the gas before storage. Went home, got the...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

They are actually hardened. It came from the estate of a machinest, so I assume he hade them. Their hard as hell. A standard center bunch won't even mark them.

Snap On Ratchet, no USA stamp

That's because all Snap On tools are now made in a factory, in the middle of a leper colony, in India. Slave wage Indian peasants work 30 hour days in dark rooms until their fingers fall off(literally), at which time they are taken out behind their shipping container sleeping quarters and shot...

Not very much. The only one I felt a little bad about was this one. This is the only pic I could find that I still have, because I sold it, wish I had not now. It's a sweetheart era Stanley No 1. Perfect japaning. No rust, no nothing. I paid $5 for it at an estate sale the family was doing...

Anyone else buy junk you don't want to sell and buy junk you do want?

I too keep way too much. I cant pass up a deal no matter how hard I try. Same thing, I don't know what it is, but I might be able to use it. I've become jaded in that I've got so many good deals and so much for dirt cheap, I Can't bear to pay retail for anything. I don't think I'm a hoarder(by...

Went back to the same estate sale, because it was advertised 1/2 price after 1pm. Garage was ransacked. There were two sheds out back that I did not notice the first time, and they were only partially ransacked. No tools left, but some digging and I found a few good items. 2 Halon fire...
