Well, maybe nothing special. However for those guys, who are interested in the history of toolmaking, Belzer is known for the inventions and quality. I shall say - this wrench is of superb quality.

    Tools from Nordic countries

I have six adjustable wrenches made by BAHCO. Five of them are new or almost new so they are not Nordic, made in Spain. But one wrench is made in Sweden, it is an old model no 0670, 4th generation wrench made in a period of 1969-1983. but this wrench is one of my favouride pieces: not only...

    Tools from the old world

So I am very suspicious when checking COO of various tools. I have received new wrench last week which seems to be made in Spain. Producer with high reputation (they produce adjustables and many other BAHCO tools since 15 years, and 4 000 years of Basque iron/steel history and other bla-bla-bla)...

    Tools of Japan

Are writing products of our forum interest? IMHO Japan is a homeland of best producers. I have received OHTO mechanical pencil yesterday. It is not the top model, quite nice though. Below the comparison to Rotring 300, also not premium model, but very good. Rotring is made in Japan (that was...

    Tools from the old world

COO is not mentioned on wrenches, neither is mentioned on the packaging/label. They are a good quality wrenches - jaws are well machined, smooth and precise, no loose. Chrome version - very good laser marking, much better than on the black. Both wrenches have inch marking on one side and mm...

    Tools of Japan

I am a fan of Olfa cutters since 20 years, however don't have many and rather low cost. Have also NT-cutter which is of excellent quality, not only handle but also very smooth sliding. And KTC-Murata, but here some cheap DYI stuff. I don't think NT-Cutters are better than Olfa due to better...

Bahco is made by Irimo, another Spanish tools maker, belonging to SNA Europe. I have two Irimo-made Bahco wrenches as well as few older made in Sweden

You are right, they seem to be almost identical. I guess it is not Irega 99W (opening 24 mm) but Irega 99 - opening of 6" is 20 mm. Well, so not Made in Germany, that explains -40% special offer :(
