Safe Max PSI for Compressor Tank

All the compressors I've ever seen have a blow off valve in case the limit switch fails and the compressor doesn't shut off.

    Why Torx Plus?

I did some research on this back when Ford started using them on the bed bolts for the 04 F150's They went to them to speed up assembly because you don't have to slow the gun down when going from bolt to bolt while tightening them during production.

Trim Instead of Finishing Drywall Corners

I say it's just a garage, go for it. It will look better then most new houses attached garages that the builders only do the tape and first coat of mud on and don't paint them and the owners never seem to get around to painting them.

Trim Instead of Finishing Drywall Corners

My garage is done that way but it's detached, I even used moldings where the ceiling meets the walls. I hate messing with drywall, can you tell :)

Why buy Snap on over SK, Cman, etc? Im convinced, there IS a difference!

Hey all my Snap On tools didn't seem like alot of $$$$ when I bought them. They where only $20.00 a week to the Snap On dealer, But I forget how many weeks I paid him ;) Thank God I bought them when I did, I don't think I could afford them now.

    Snap On's New 16mm 1/4" Drive Sockets

I guess I rest my case. Why do you need a 16 mm 1/4" drive socket then. I know I have a 5/8" 1/4" drive socket that I haven't used in years, the only thing I used it for was on the nut that held the battery cable on to the starter solenoid on some old GM cars.

    Help Me Get My Variance

If you lived in the same town as I do I would tell you not to waste your time trying. They are very tough to get a variance from. I was shot down because they counted my porch as lot coverage. And I couldn't show a hardship, tried the clutter, garbage cans......... The crazy thing is after...

    Colored Concrete, Anyone Done-it ??

I worked at a shop that had dyed concrete. It was a red powder that they dusted on and worked it in while finishing it. The original floor was at least 30 years old and had held up to having antifreeze, engine oil, trans fluid, brake fluid, battery acid and being scrubbed multiple time a week...

Dumbest things we ever had to fix

Saw a fellow tech take a front strut off a VW Rabbit and take the nut off the upper mount. Funny thing was he forgot to put the spring compressor on it. We picked up parts and impact gun in three different bays.

    Electronic condensate drain: electric question

I would think it's safe. Let's say you have a 15 amp circuit and you can plug a night light in and that's the only thing on that circuit. You could take that same night light and plug it into a 20 amp or 30 amp circuit.

    Door locks on your garage

After the house next door got broken into I checked the dead bolt on the back door and found that the hole in the frame wasn't deep enough for it to lock. All it took was a small screwdriver and it popped open. When I built my garage I had the door installed to swing outward, if you try to kick...

    question about ASE certified

I wouldn't worry a lot about taking the test. You only have to pass with 70% I actually had a training class that the instructor was on the committee that comes up with the test questions. He told me every test has a few questions they are trying out and don't count towards the final result. I...
