    GearWrench in the future?

GearWrench has really big backing in that they are owned by Apex Tool group. Apex is a huge conglomerate tool manufacturer who makes just about every tool you can imagine. My company is a distributor but we honestly don't do too much with them. Those same guys own: Allen – Hex keys...

    Flashlight suggestions??

The Pelican 2360 is an awesome light and is bright as all of my Streamlights and Surefires. Something I like the most is that it runs off of 1.5 V AA batteries. I get tired of trying to find good, cheap CR123 batteries. Pelican 2360

    Adjustable wrenches, brand?

I really like the Wright Tools adjustable wrenches. Also the Williams are really nice as well. Proto makes a click adjustable wrench if you're worried about play that is really a great wrench as well. All made in the USA.

Snap-On and Williams USA socket comparison

My company is a Williams distributor and I met with my Williams manufacturer rep today and asked him about this. I got some good information. There are two differences between the Williams and the Snap-On besides the stamp. The Snap-On sockets and wrenches are heat treated higher than the...

4 1/2'' Angle Grinder - What to buy

When it comes to grinders Metabo is top of the mark. I'm also a fan of the Milwaukee grinders, however I'd say they are a rung below Metabo. Edit to add: This thread reminded me that my warehouse guys used (and burnt up) my Dewalt grinder. So I bought myself a Metabo W8-115Q. It should be...

    Heavy oil pump

I also have the little hand pump. By the way to get one of these and not pay for it just grab the hand pump off a bottle of Gojo or other hand cleaner. They are all just a little plastic pump. Clean it out and let it sit in some water with dish soap and then rinse it thoroughly. I also go...

New Harbor Freight 72" Massive Toolbox Review

OK, I actually forgot I had our Williams factory rep coming by today so I could sign some paperwork. He filled me in on what's what. The 50764 cabinet from their super value cabinet line is a good box but is not one that you'd want to load down with tools and then move around every day. His...

    Recommend Me a Screwdriver Set

    Craftsman tools

If you can't plan ahead then that's what you'll be bound to unless you can find an industrial supplier that caries one of the USA brands. I just joined tonight, but if anyone is in Houston my company is on the North side by the airport and we carry USA made tools. Out in LA you may find a...

New Harbor Freight 72" Massive Toolbox Review

I can actually sell a Snap-On Williams box for the price that the above vendors are marketing their's for. It would be a 75" box and from the value line, but still a very good box. The weight is pretty low compared to the HF one. I will call the factory in the morning and see if that is accurate...

    Craftsman tools

I was in Sears last Saturday looking for an impact socket, and would have settled for a hand socket, to work on a truck the next day. I don't like shopping at Sears already because I'm a Wright Tool, Snap-On Williams, Apex, and Proto distributor, but it was Saturday and I have a Sears about two...
