and i was under the impression these cfl lights were to save us all money. not when you have to buy special bulbs to accomadate dimmers and ceiling fans. maybe with the money saved we can afford to buy the specialty lights?

i would think most any truck supply/truck stop might have them. they hold up well in the wind, rain, snow and sun. i mean, if they can withstand 70 mph winds while covering product for 3 to 5 days, they should be pretty sturdy.

my suggestion was going to be good old anti freeze. of course, i am already anticipating hearing from those who live in town where ***** arent nearly the problem as they are for more rural areas. the anti freeze is especially helpful if you live in an area where discharge of a firearm is frowned...

what about getting a basement floor jack, like what they use in older houses to support the weight of the floor above, and then just box around it. no holes in either garage floor or ceiling, and since its made of wood, you can add all the little cat perches you want. simple and uncomplicated.

since this thread has been bumped back to top, have you considered or looked at coachman garage? not a dealer or employee or share holder, just giving another option for garage builders. maybe morton building too.

i think what he means is measure out 3 feet on one wall, 4 feet on the other, adjoining wall and draw a line where the 3 and 4 foot measurements stop and it should read 5 ft. same thing applies for the 6,8 10 measurement.
