Any experience with Vevor’s 330lb Electric Scissor Lift Table?

That is a good observation and that is what I originally intended on doing. However to make the ramps fully extend and fold up underneath the table and not cause issues when it was totally lowered, I elected to do what you see. I can confirm they are rock solid. That plywood is 1 ½ inches...

Any experience with Vevor’s 330lb Electric Scissor Lift Table?

Finally, here are pics of the ramps. They are mounted on hinges. When raised they fall straight and will be lifted under the table out of the way.

Any experience with Vevor’s 330lb Electric Scissor Lift Table?

It's complete with the exception of the fold out ramps. Its about 12.25" lowered and 32.25" raised.

Here are some pics of the connections on the frame. You can see the there are gaps between the metal pieces and bolts. I am pretty sure I can tighten them a bit more to reduce any shakiness. I can't tighten completely because this is where the movement is on raising and lowering. I will...

Any experience with Vevor’s 330lb Electric Scissor Lift Table?

I will try and be brief, but there is much to share. After messing with it for 1 hour, I am quite impressed. Bullet points for key points followed by pics: - It arrived undamaged. The original Vevor box was placed in a larger Amazon box. The Amazon box had some damage but the Vevor box was in...

Any experience with Vevor’s 330lb Electric Scissor Lift Table?

Well, I pulled the trigger and purchased it. It will be here Tuesday (20-Jan-2026). I will give a write-up on what I find. I agree that I expect to be "underwhelmed" with it. However, I have a 500lb foot pump lift cart that is quite strong. I expect this to be less stable but possibly still...

Any experience with Vevor’s 330lb Electric Scissor Lift Table?

Has anyone used this table to create a lift workbench for small engine work (mowers, snow blowers, etc.)? I wonder how sturdy it would be if you removed the wheels and added a bigger base along with a top by might be 3’x4’. If you have, share your experience and some pics of your table/usage...

Repaired - Ryobi 18V Hybrid Propane Garage Heater Model PCL801

So I repaired my Ryobi 18V Hybrid Propane Heater Model PCL801 (Pic1). I wanted to share the easy repair so it might help others: BACKGROUND I bought this used on eBay. It was listed as used but in tested working condition. When it arrived it was missing the propane hose. That is kind of a big...

    Which Workbench?

I had that same Harbor Freight Wooden workbench you showed in your original post. I used it for about 10+ years. It is a very sturdy bench and I had a 4" bench on the left-hand side. I recently got rid of it and replaced it with the Craftsman bench I mentioned in my earlier post.

    Which Workbench?

I would also check FB Marketplace. I just picked up a nice 4 drawer metal craftsman with a 1 3/4" butcher block top on it for $60. Built much better than what I could buy new in most cases at any reasonable price.

I used a carpet cleaner on my garage floor – Good results!

So let me describe the setting first: I have a newer (~5 year old) home with the common 3 stall garage. A double stall garage that holds the 2 vehicles and the offset single stall that is my workshop (mainly mechanical, some wood). When we moved in I thought my garage floor was sealed with...

Propane Adapter? - Ryobi 18V Cordless Hybrid Forced Air Propane Heater

My garage is as well (a Ryobi showroom) with a sprinkling of Milwaukee and Bauer. bwringer is correct regarding the Ryobi Hybrid Fan. Photo below. It is not well known and also is a tad pricey ~$149. It runs on either 120V or Ryobi's 18V batteries. I bought one used off of FB Marketplace...

Propane Adapter? - Ryobi 18V Cordless Hybrid Forced Air Propane Heater

Does anyone know what type of propane adapter fits this heater? The connection is an odd one. Hoses from Ryobi are $75+. I thought the Blackstone Griddle hose/connection might work, but it is different. I think Ridgid had a similar heater, but it has the same connection.

Evacuation MityVac (Sucker) Pump Free Hack – Pics included

I thought I would share the hack I did to my MityVac evacuation pump. These are the vacuum pumps that you hand pump and **** up fluids (oils, fluids, etc.) from small engines, automobiles, etc. This solution should work for most any brand evacuation pump that is built similarly and most of us...

    Garage Radio problems

You might want to take the case/cover off of your stereo and blow the inside out with an air compressor. If it is old and has the older "metal plate" style tuning mechanism, that can get pretty dirty and lead to some issues.

    Little Dunlap drill press question

Thank you all for the info. I might solve my issue by purchasing this Dunlap Jig Saw. Does anyone know if this pulley will work? This is the only pic I have of it. The motor pic says it is Craftsman but all the specs on it match my Dunlap motor exactly. What I don't know is if the pulley...

    Little Dunlap drill press question

Ok, I am going to hijack this thread for another Dunlap drill press question. I'll pose the question and then give background and photo. - Where can I find a 4 stack pulley for the motor of my 103.23621? I have a Dunlap 1/4hp Dunlap motor (not original) attached to it with a 1/2" shaft with a...

Bandsaw or Jigsaw: One v the other or pros/cons?

I bought one of those cheap/run of the mill 9” table band saws with the fence and push miter gauge. I wanted to point out they are very handy for cutting other materials other than wood (plastic, hard rubber, etc – not metal). They are quite versatile. Two of the last things I cut on mine: -...
