    Plumbing my new compressor

I'm currently planing how I want to run my shop line, (copper) I read that I should run the same diameter supply line as what comes off my compressor. My new compressor has a 3/4 fitting coming out of it and I really didn't want to run such a large supply line, was hoping 1/2 to my regulator...

    Switch on 220 compressor

Thank you, seems the easiest way to achieve a switch. Amazed they don't come from the factory with one.

    Switch on 220 compressor

So since its on the pressure switch is low voltage a toggle switch like this would work? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Gardner-Bender-20-Amp-Single-Pole-Toggle-Switch-1-Pack-GSW-121/100117400

    Rotary lift and other lifts

This isn't really a how to wire a hoist, more so how to do it the cleanest. I just setup my new rotary spo10 trio and was looking at different ways to nicely wire hoist from ceiling to limit switch down to motor. My first plan was to run 1/2 conduit to limit switch and then use some 10 guage...

    Switch on 220 compressor

Found this switch while at homedepot, wouldn't this work to run a 30 amp double pull breaker to this switch and from switch to mag starter on compressor? Then I can simply flip switch off for over night...

    Switch on 220 compressor

So simply interrupt one of the two wires going to the pressure switch with a toggle and I'm all set. Seems easy enough

    Switch on 220 compressor

Not really concerned about turning it off when running but more so like the idea of flipping power of at night to keep it from running when not needed. Yes it has a mag starter, and not currently wired. Just got it yesterday:rocker:

    Switch on 220 compressor

Thinking of ways to wire my new compressor, its a 220 sailor-beall with a 5 hp motor. My main question is what are your thoughts on wiring a switch to override power to compressor to avoid running due to pressure loss in the event of a leak. I thought I could keep it simple and find a breaker...

Choosing a 2 post lift. One size fits all?

Are you happy you went with the trio? I'm on the fence between the trio and the flip ups...

    Tire wings for hoist

Is anyone using these on their two post? Looking at them they look handy, however might get in the way. They look to fit well in the rear arms of a asymmetrical lift but might be crowded on the front arms.

    Rotary SPO10 Time to order

What's the difference between the spoa10 trio vs this spoa10 with 3 stage arms?

    220 off a single pull 20amp

What would be the best way of fixing that ( or just let it be? ) if I'm understanding correctly I would turn power off at meter, then switch the wire or just move the breaker on #2 and #3 of the main braker?
