That’s too bad, I love my M18 fans, I use them to push heat from the wood stove upstairs. However, they definitely need anew, infinitely adjustable dial.

It’s not worth doing, they are different use cases. For serious work, you simply cannot get around the energy density of fossil fuels and that’s not even counting factors like battery degradation due to the cold, battery cost, charge time, etc.
