I do all the work myself so its just the cost of gas for me. So I spoke too soon, I looked at my solar flux water test again and it is starting to slightly rust in really small areas. Do you think back purging with C25 would be fine? I have a lot of it, its cheaper and I could just use my mig...

Yes, you MUST backpurge the piping before welding it. Although solar flux powder works 'mostly', it is not as 'good' of a weld zone protector as actually backpurging. I tested some solar flux welds by soaking them in water for a month and the backside didn't rust. I'm welding a couple long 3"...

DOGDOG, I appreciate your information, Its not the turbo itself it is just a cast 304 stainless 90 degree adapter from the headers to the turbos connected with a V-Band clamp. I would send a picture but I haven't figured out how to yet. Thanks

Hello I am interesting to find the answer on which rod to use. Like the title says I need to weld a 304 pipe to a 304 cast stainless turbo adapter for my wategates. I've heard both 308L and 309L. Just wondering what you guys would use? Thanks in advance.

I've been looking for a while and came to a conclusion of Atlas 9KOH 2 post lift. Does anyone own this model and are they happy with the product and service? I do not have any vehicles above 5k so this model should be fine. Thanks

Hello AKA Larry, I am seriously thinking of buying this lift. I am wondering if you are sill happy with it? Also I am 6-2" do you think it would pose a problem for me to work under a fully lifted car. I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Rick
