Whats your take on FLUKE multimeters?

I used to have a Metex (asian brand) I really liked (I now use a simple fluke).: http://www.imetex.com/html/product/product_dmm.asp Agilent is another brand which makes really nice dmm's, I think they're maybe a sub brand of HP (which makes all kind of awesome measuring&logging equipment)...

Whats your take on FLUKE multimeters?

Fluke meters are very nice, easily availabe, durable and probably market leader. But there are other manufacturers who make multimeters which are just as good (or better?) like Gossen-Metrawatt, Benning, Metrix etc. But they're just as expensive (or even more :shocking:) and more difficult to...

    Ideal Digital Multimeter

What's the rst setting? Is that some kind of multi phase power checker? (judging from the 3 input leads). That would be pretty cool (don't know what it measures though...) Looks like a good value meter to me; the only thing missing is the temp probe, handy if you want to check airconditioning...

How tools are made - videos

Ever wondered how tools are made? The Hazet manufacture vids you'll probably know (some have already been posted here): http://www.hazet.de/de/download-service/film-archiv.html Discoverychannel made a 'how its made' video about Snap-on screwdrivers: How its made on Snap-on sockets (starts at...

    Let's see your toolbox.

No, but they have a nice sorting of tools (i like the red/black inlay toolmodules). I bought my cart at http://www.rustbuster.nl/Kraftwerk_set/Rustbusterkar.htm I liked the fact that this cart has 8 drawers. Most carts are 7 drawer (5 low for modules and 2 for big or special tools) or 11 drawer...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Nice toolsets you guys have. A lot of Snap on & Mac, very nice indeed, and probably quite expensive. Most sets dwarf my small toolcart (But being in Europe and not driving an american car I don't need an extra SAE toolset :lol_hitti :) It's a Kraftwerk set (probably not known in the...
