Quik-lok is the only way to go. I've lost too many expensive bits inside walls because the set screws start to loosen off from vibration.

There is a huge difference between M12 and M18 if you're talking about the regular brushed versions. Regular M12 is pretty weak IMO and I use these tools professionally daily. M18 works very nice but they get pretty damn heavy after repetitive use, especially with the bigger 3.0-4.0 batteries...

In my experience the pipe tends to squish a bit when your cutting if the blade is a little bit dull. This makes the pipe more of an oval shape, it's a real PITA trying to glue an oval pipe into a round hub.

It was only a 14 inch wrench you should never have to put all your weight on a wrench or even snipe it, your just asking to get hurt that's what they make bigger wrenches for. Ridgid was going to warranty the wrench I broke but I didn't want to go through the hastle of sending it to the states.

I have ridgid aluminums in all sizes 6-18 with a few different variations like the rapidgrip and a couple offset styles. I've only had one wrench break which was a 14 inch aluminum offset which I pushed way past its limit by pretty much hanging off a pipe with all of my weight.

Just because its made in usa doesn't mean its high quality, go with a ridgid or a lennox and you won't be disappointed
