I have the 3k psi Rigid and I agree with not letting anyone borrow it..my neighbor used it and a plug came out of pump and he could not get it to stay in due to threads being almost gone so he replaced it with new one. That would be fine if he had gotten one with a recess in it instead of a flat...
I have one that is connected to the city sewer and works on occasion...then one day the sewer was 2" deep in the garage! I used a plumbers test plug from Lowes wich just cost a couple bucks and put the grating back on.
I am a die hard fluke man being in the instrumentation field for 16yrs. I still ahve my original 77, these meters can take serious abuse. One cool thing about their new ones is the 24vdc loop power option.
