Knipex 7" & 10" Cobra Plier set marked down to 20.99 @ Lowes

Just picked up a 7" one for a buddy of mine who wanted me to keep a look out for it. Paid $16 for his and $23 for the 12" model at my new favorite tool shop.

That Plomb screwdriver is pretty sick too.

    Stronger than a dual 80

If you must use a ratchet, why not just get a 1" rat with a 1/2" impact adapter? Your ratchet will no longer be the weak link and spare adapters are easier to carry then extra ratchets.

What? Tell that nancy writer to go knit somthing! This article was written by some idealist who has no grasp on how violent the real world is.

    Tools from the old world

Found these yesterday at a tool shop in my neck woods. I'm not very familiar with SKG, can you guys tell me about them? Specifically, how durable are the tips?

eBay ever shut down your SO tool auctions?

Please expand on this, I fail see how physical goods qualify as intellectual property.

    Plomb Screwdriver!

It's beat up a bit, but considering it's age the fact that I found it in a box full of tools I picked up for $20 that 75% contents found their way to the trash bin when I dumped it out, I think it's in pretty good shape. What do you guys think?

That's why my pops calls em "spinners", I'm thinkin it's an old term from yesteryear, I'll have to ask him.

    Speeder Handles

I like using speed handles or "Spinners" as my dad calls them, I'm still trying to find one of those fancy flex head numbers like this http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=hand&item_ID=70334&group_ID=350&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog. $120 is hard to justify but I know that Plomb...

    toolsdelivered.com??

This post is so ignorant I feel compelled to respond. It's called PERSEC, Google it, but until you do I might suggest not using any checkin applications like Foursquare. "Suspicion breeds confidence, only the paranoid survive" BTW, I mean this in the nicest way possible.

Can you use a new torque wrench to test the calibration of a used one?

Seems like a good idea, but correct me if I'm wrong foot pounds is a measurement of torque that's taken exactly 12" from the fulcrum? If I am right then you would have to move the "Wrench Distribution Spacer" 12 inches from the pivot point.

Possible old snap on 1/2" extension?

Cool, it's nice to hold something in your hands that's that old, but due to this thread it's soon to be in someone else's hands who can fix it up and appreciate it more than I. If it was a functioning tool I probably would have kept it and put it to use as I needed one this length but it's all...

Possible old snap on 1/2" extension?

Came across this awhile back, maybe you guys can help me identify it. It looks like some jackass hit the back with a hammer so it's not functional anymore since it will only go about halfway on a ratchet but I thought it was cool none the less. I can very faintly read the word "Snap" in the...

    HK1 Hydrokinetic Wrench

Interesting none the less but gimmicky and they don't even show a good demonstration of how much torque it can apply to a fastener. I'm gonna have to pass, too many variables to deal with for me to gamble $20 of my money. It might be good for bicycles maybe they market it to that crowd.
