    Pipe cutter for irrigation recommendation

    I have a Ridgid RC 1625 pvc cutter, which is a very nice pipe cutter. But, in a dirt/soil/irrigation conditions, the tool would jammed up. I have to open it up after every job and clean it. Anyone have a recommendation on pipe cutter in this area? Thanks in advance.

    Gerber Multi-Plier 600 or other?

    I have the black version. The metal is soft. Wire cutter is all messed up. I stay with my Leatherman. Like someone already mentioned, if you like Gerber, then buy another.

    Op is talking about Icon not The HF torque wrench. Speaking of checking for calibration every 6 months, I double check my HD torque wrench (back when it was made in USA) with a torque adapter before I use it every time.

    When I did my research on this set, many complained the same. Over all, $50 for 42 pieces is not a bad deal, it just wasn’t going to be pretty. In the end, I went with Gearwrench metrics set instead.

    Replace. If you don’t use much get corded— battery decays. I have a Skil sidewinder for 7 years works fine on weekend diy project.
