    USA iron ore?

Not good i'm sorry to say mate, I was over west working rail a few years back and there was plenty of money changing hands then. We are now talking thousands out of work in the mining industry and other losses by way of the car industry shutting down in Aus. Sad state of affairs.

    Importing ahead of buying locally

Guess it's like any and everything, you take the good with the bad, the problem here in Aus is you've got fewer and fewer people with any clue at all cause it's all run by the big mobs and those that know have either died, retired or been driven out of work by the btards. Once a pon a time...

    Importing ahead of buying locally

Most of the small, privately run hardware stores went out of business here in Australia when the likes of bunnings and masters took a hold. The last of the tool stores that I frequented closed 6 months ago and it was a place that you could buy everything, all quality:thumbup: and plenty of old/...

    Todays joke

A psychologist conducted an experiment on three fitters. They were all placed in a room wearing nothing but their jocks and each of them was given a bowling ball. The room was locked for 12hrs. On opening the room at the end of 12hrs, the psychologist observed what each of the fitters had done...

    Drill bit usage

I've got different sets, generally all quality though as I see low grade drill bits as a pain in the ****. They obviously take a beating when used in the field but generally hand sharpen them till they are too short. Good bits last years.

    Obsolete tools.

I was thinking of tools that are more or less obsolete and the first that came to mind was a saw set. I probably haven't seen one in 25years. Then again I ain't no carpenter. Any others you can think of?
