Are you going to put in AC? I wouldn't have a shop without it anymore, and especially not on the Texas coast. That will be a lot of space to cool if its all one big area.

Check the speed with and without. Mine maxed about 50-60mb/s. Router speed is 600 mb/s.

Lot's of older shop tools, but the latest to become indispensable is the M12 stubby hex drive impact. I build wheelchair ramps 2 days a week. That thing drives screws by the hundreds. On other days, it functions as a regular impact for mechanic type work with hex inserts for 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2...

A real stump grinder will eat 24 inch oak stump in maybe 5 minutes. The guys that do it around here use big Vermeer machines that make short work of big stumps...

HF hoist work just fine. My shop was designed for a 1 ton traveler and hoist. It's handy.

I would go the rest of the way and use C-channel for the joists and beam. Weld it all.

Depends. I have actually had a similar job done. Is it heavy I-beam framed all the way to the end, or lighter weight c-channel end. Lighter end means you have to support the roof with posts somewhere. Heavier framing means self supporting, jerk out the end wall and go.

Pretty simple to pull that one breaker, remove the wire and wire an plug on it to fit the generator.

That's what I use. Unless you have some huge motors, 20 amp plugs are more than adequate. 3 phases spreads out the current draw. I also put in a small 3 phase breaker panel to distribute the power.

Brace and bits are very handy...
