No but they are not flood lights. They are 4000k led lights that will be suspended using tracks. In the near future when I recover from the build I intend to replace everything by Phillips hue or something equivalent. The spots are big enough for hues upgrade [emoji3]

Fresh updates! Sneak peak of the living room when we brought some lamps to be installed: Flooring work can be seeing. It was almost finished when I took the picture. It is today. I’m closing the door to the balcony now. I don’t want anyone there scratching the floor. Detail of the step...

Day Light Saving is over and I get back when it’s already dark. I couldn’t get many clear pictures today because the light was gone quickly. The power outlets and switches are on. Waaaay different than we were aiming for but they should be there temporarily because we just want to move in asap...

Thanks guys. Funny fact about the bathtub, we wanted those vintage ceramic ones. They are crazy expensive. We have found out that new ones based on vintage models are even more expensive. This tub you’re seeing is our version of creative workaround. Gladly, the end result paid off.

Thanks man! You know that tiny detail that always slips through our control and then we just have to live with it? Not with the kitchen. The wood is absolutely impressive. Exceeded all my expectations. The funny thing is that we wanted something functional, not magazine decorative. I never...

Killing time in a small "2 car" garage

Re: Killing time in a small "2 car" garage I hear about macs. My wife has the new 12” one and can’t live without it. Mine is - believe it or not - a 2007 MacBook white!! Some years ago it stopped getting upgrades and was stuck with Snow Leopard. I said f... it, I’m still gonna be...

I want to go metric - anyone other Americans done this

Lol while I’m not from US, I have absolutely 0 understanding of your 0-1/4 things. I never know what I’m reading here because we have absolutely zero contact with the SAE system. No store will have power tools or measurers in inches. We also have festool here and it does come in cms. The only...

Killing time in a small "2 car" garage

Killing time in a small "2 car" garage Question: Why this Lenovo? Isn’t it gigantic? I always think that you should go for the smallest and lightest when going for mobile or maybe a desktop if you’re going to be stationary. By the way, I also have a Lenovo as my daily machine...

Thanks man. About the locks, they’re yours. It is an American brand called mul-t-lock: The door is a steel sheet covered with natural wood laminates. Something like this:

Just because you guys called me out here, the doors are finally finished!! The freakin contractor already started to work again, and half of my living room has the concrete finishing! Next week things should move so fast that they may catch up to the almost wasted January. Sorry I didn’t take...

By the way, taking about the doors, the entrance one is also made with steel. I didn’t share before but here you can see the detail of hinges and the steel ring around the door. Pretty strong stuff:
